Welcome back to a world where some teenagers rise up from the dead and walk among us. A world were science still hasn’t figured out why some teens come back and some remain dead. Not everyone is happy these “zombies” are walking around. That these differently biotic teens are going to school and mixing with the living. It is a dangerous world for the living impaired.
At the end of the first novel in this series, GENERATION DEAD, Adam took a bullet for Phoebe. Adam loved Phoebe from afar, but stepped aside when she showed an interest in Tommy, a differently biotic boy. Adam didn’t give a second thought to giving his life to protect Phoebe and he didn’t think about coming back from the dead.
Since Adam has been back, Phoebe spends all the time she can with him. She knows he wouldn’t be in the situation he is in if it weren’t for her. She feels confused though. She can’t decide if she loves Tommy or Adam. She doesn’t know if Tommy’s feelings for her are genuine or if he just wants to be with her because she is living and he wants to make a statement.
There isn’t time for her to focus on her own problems though. Trouble is brewing with Pete all over again, Reverend Nathan Mather is continuing to gather followers and making life difficult for all the differently biotic, and politicians are considering laws to take away what little freedom they have. Times are changing and it isn’t for the better.
KISS OF LIFE is a great follow up to GENERATION DEAD. Daniel Waters does a great job of showing us a differently biotic’s thought process through Adam’s character. We get to witness Adam’s improvement through chapters from his point of view. Readers will sympathize with Adam and come to love him even if they didn’t before. A few new characters are introduced – some of them will pull at your heart strings while the others will make your skin crawl. The way this book ends, readers will be clamoring for the third in this series.

I cannot wait for this to come out, and I can’t help but laugh at the post above. She got some things wrong, haha. First Kiss of Life isn’t out yet, and it is called Kiss of Life, not Kiss of Death. This made me laugh, anyways I cannot wait for this! I loved Generation Dead, and I cannot wait to see who Pheobe chooses, because I could never pick between Adam and Tommy. My friend feels indifferent though, she wants to see Pheobe with Adam.

Well I just read the one before mine so I guess, I won’t get it for Christmas since it’s not out but, Oh well. I’ll get it when it does!

Okay, let me begin by saying I LOVED GENERATION DEAD!!
I read it in one night, started at half ten when I went to bed and finished it at half 6 in the morning…the worst part was it was Monday by then and i had to wake up in half an hour!
Anyway, I want to know how you, (the luvly people reading this)

Great book I loved it I cried at the end when Adam died. But I’m glad he came back to life again. PHEOBE & ADAM all the way. ^.^

Oh My God I started reading Generation Dead In the summer but i bought it for my self and today at school i found out Daniel Waters wrote a 2nd and 3rd one and i am anticipating Kiss of Life and like come on who doesn’t want to see Adam And Pheboe(i think i spelled that wrong) get together. OMG I Am the only one where i live thats read generation dead so ill be the first one to get kiss of life. OMG I CAN”T WAIT!!!!!
I luv this book i feel so bad 4 adam + tommy was a little like a jerk when he said a GIRL…………… but i still like TOMMY so much better than ADAM i think he should go with KAREN they so belong together!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought the first book yesterday and I am already half way through it, I can barely put it down i find myself reading it at the dinner table!
I only got it yesterday because you could get another one free and I saw that it had my name (Phoebe) in it. But I’m sure glad I did but it!!!

i really adore generation dead and the kiss of life they are beautifully written and brought tears to my eyes…i couldnt believe what happened to adam in the ending of the first book but i love how he comes back in the second one….please write more
i think adam and phoebe are a great pair and so are tommy and karen…..reading these books are like falling in love…. i cried when a read the first page of the second book it just made feel so sorry for adam….these books are way better then the twilight series…..way way better…
i have just finished the second book and i dont know what to do with myself…those books where amazing and i really want to read more….they had true meaning and inspired me….
