Thank you Richelle Mead! You have given fans of the Vampire Academy series a wonderful third novel. SHADOW KISS is probably the best out of the three. Reading VAMPIRE ACADEMY and FROSTBITE first is a must in order to really understand what is going on in the series.
Rose Hathaway is training to be a Guardian. Once she graduates from St. Vladimir’s Academy she will be assigned to guard her best friend Lissa for the rest of her life. Even though everything is going along as planned, she is feels waves of jealously and anger. A lot of these feelings come from the fact that she can never have what she truly wants – love.
Dimitri, her mentor and teacher, is set to be her partner after graduation. He and Rose will be the team that guards Lissa on a daily basis. The problem is, Rose and Dimitri are in love. Knowing their love isn’t allowed, they make sure to keep their relationship professional – when they can.
Rose has started seeing ghosts and she feels sure they are trying to tell her something. Soon she begins to understand they are telling her that danger is on the way. Danger that will involve everyone at St. Vladimir’s. Rose is no stranger to fighting, but this time it is going to be war. Not everyone survives and Rose ends up having to make the hardest decision of her life – one that will effect both her and Lissa.
SHADOW KISS left me breathless and in tears. I can’t wait for the next book in the series to come out. The way SHADOW KISS ends leads me to believe that the next one will be even better. There are so many possibilities that it makes my head spin.

This is by far the best book, I have ever read. I think about the ending everyday. It is definetly a must have as Kelsey said above. You WILL NOT be disappointed!
I agree. I think about the ending a lot too. I run all the different possible scenarios through my mind. I can’t wait to read the next one in the series. I think it has the potential to be even better than SHADOW KISS.
I think about the end every day like, it could not have possibly happened, but it did and i think about how it could possibly be fixed or it work out and my head just strats spinning. grerat book. must read

it is the best book ever! the series is amazing, I never read in my life and i read the three of them in 5 days i was so proud. But now i am so depressed and angry about the ending! i run through different scenarios aswell. they never stop after i read it i had nightmares and tossed and turned all night hoping he would come back. while reading the enging i was sobbing like a baby! ha ha. cant wait till the next one in July
I started Shadow Kiss last night at 9 and finished it in my government and social issues class today at noon! This book went WAY beyond my expectations and I fell in love with it. The ending was so gut wrenching and almost had me in tears (almost, I was in school
) the last 100 pages were just an explosion of action and emotion! I can’t wait for the 4th book to hit the stores, I am sure that it will be even better than Shadow Kiss, if that is even possible. I haven’t looked forward to a book this much since the 7th Harry Potter.

ya omg i just finished it and i was also crying!! I was so mad that it ended that way and i have 2 wait!! The 4th book is going 2 be 270 something pages for a paper back copie!!! Its kind short next to SHADOW KISS! SHODOW KISS was 443 pages! But thats ok i geuss!

YES. REading this book felt like a – like a- I don’t know. Some nightmare. Some super awesome creative- sad-dream and boy did it leave me with ‘wow’. Yes. Just one word for the whole book. Wow.
Best book I have ever read. I didn’t think any other book would make me cry since New Moon but this. This is like. “Oh my god I can’t believe that just happened.”
And it did. It wasn’t a happily ever after ending, but it was seriously sooo good.
This book was like no other! Every turn it took was unexpected and thrilling. I sobbed soo hard at the end! I am also a HUGE twilight fan…but this…this was just amazing. Everyone is soo used to those sappy beautiful happy ever afters, but this book didn’t have that, and it set my expectations for Blood Promise even higher. I am dying just thinking about how far July is! I have been dreaming about Shadow Kiss ever since I finished it. I can’t seem to get it out of my head. My friend also read it and we are trying to guess what will happen in the next book, but I’m sure we’ll be amazed!

I just Finished reading shadow kiss and in super sad too…!!..i really dont know what to think about it(other than it was amazing!)but its just so so sad i swear im having dreams about it too..I just cant wait for the 4th book!!!..I thought it was 480pages i keep hearing people say that is gonna bre 244 of something like dat…i duuno !!

This book must be read. I often read english books, and this one, and Evernight are my favourites!! I hope that Dimitri and Rose will find a way to be together!!Pleassseeee!
