6. Molly Jo - March 9, 2009

AHHH! I’m doing a 2009 100 book challenge and I’m so far behind!!! I’m on 8!! In my defense, there’s been a hospital stay and a cruise with 25 bands. I like reading about your reads and am now putting in a shameless plug for my own blog! I was wondering if you could take a look, give me any pointers on my reviews, etc. I hope you don’t mind!

10. Marissa - March 30, 2009

This is cool! I am jealous of how much you read, haha.

What did you think of Betwixt? That was the last book I read and I have mixed feelings about it. I loved the first half or so. It was really addicting. I didn’t like it towards the end though, and the ending was unsatisfying. It left me confused. What did you think of the end?

And I’m reading Evermore right now. I’m about half way through. I love Alyson Noel, so I’m surprised that I’m a little bored with the book right now. Does it get better?

Unknown - September 15, 2009

Evermore does get really good. it gets very sweet towards the end. to me, it was an awesome book. i was a little bit at the beginning with all the cheesy flashback but it keeps getting better and better. this is my opinion =D I LOVE THE BOOK! ^^

11. Thalita - April 14, 2009

Hi, this is my first entry here… Anyway, just refering to Marissa’s comment on Evermore, yes, it does get better, and i can’t wait for the sequel! Good luck to you!

12. briaq - April 19, 2009

Hi Karin – found you on the wordpress linkbacks w/ our Rosemary Clement-Moore posts. Love the site. Can’t wait to see what you’ll read next!

13. Samantha - April 21, 2009

What do you just read all the time and never do any thing else I mean I love to read to but if I read that much that would be all I was doing. Cuz each one of your books the dates are like march 5;next book march 6;next book march 8. That’s crazy how do you do it and were do you find all these books and have the money to buy them all you must spend like 500.00 a month on books. And can you tell me all the books on your background ecpecially the one with the cartoon fairy looking book. And the one with the blonde chick. I’d like to know what all of them are but I can’t tell.
Thanks, Samantha

14. Thalita - April 22, 2009

Hi Karin, i just finished reading Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead… Well, gotta tell you, LOVED IT! but i was really upset on how it ended on #3, now i can’t stop thinking about it… The 4th one is coming out in August, and i can’t wait! Please let me know if you read it, and your thoughts on it! Thanks!

15. Ariel - April 28, 2009

I really want to read Interwined it looks great. I just finished reading Dead Untill Dark the first in a series and it was really good. So if you like vampire books you should check that series out!

karinlibrarian - April 28, 2009

I love that series. It is by Charlaine Harris. It is the series that the Showtime or HBO show True Blood is based on.

16. fan - April 28, 2009

Hi Karen, I love the Vampire Academy series; they rock! Can’t wait for Blood Promise to come out…>_<
Anyways, i don’t know if you’ve read it already or not, but i really reccomend Graceling by Kristen Cashore. Fire, the prequel and Bitterblue, the sequal are coming out later in fall, but read Graceling. i think it might even be able to challenge The Uglies!

Erin - July 5, 2009

I read Graceling! Well, I have like 20 pages left. It was pretty interesting, but a little bit predictable… I didn’t know that more books were coming out in the series, though. Thanks!

17. ariel - May 1, 2009

I picked up Evermore last night and am reading it. I’m not that into it though I kind of just want to read something else. I’m only about half way through it. So I was just wondering if anyone else felt like me while reading it.

Zeen - May 3, 2009

hey i wanted to read that book is it any good at all?

mishee - June 7, 2009

You’re so not alone. I’ve read it 2 weeks ago and… I don’t know, I just don’t feel it. I honestly tried to like it (with the reviews and the money I paid for to read it), but no good… peace out everyone!

On another note: I CAN’T WAIT FOR CATCHING FIRE!! That book is gonna be awesome!

Erin - July 5, 2009

Oh, I know! I’m so excited about reading CatchingFire!!! I read TheHungerGames in January, so the wait has been torture! I heard that the third book is coming out in 2010; does anyone know what it might be called?

This may be a stupid question, but I was wondering how you can read Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins when it doesn’t even come out until September 2009 ? I’m just curious because Hunger Games is one of my favorite books so I’d love to read Catching Fire. Thanks..

karinlibrarian - June 1, 2009

Hi Karin,
I love your website. You have many great books listed-I should know, i read a lot of them. If you are looking for interesting books, I have a few recommendations…

3) Just Listen By Sarah Dessen

28. Nata Amores - June 4, 2009

Wow, I’m a big reader too, but nowhere as much as you.
I truly admire individuals who can balance it all out.
A great blog, and read so many novels!
Keep up the good work, praises for you. (:
I recently read Evermore, which I fell in love with and The Tenth Circle by Jodi Picoult.

kylo - June 21, 2009

29. HLM - June 8, 2009

OMG!!!!!!!!!! I love this site!!!!!!! found some excellent books here!!!!!!

I love the vampire academy series!!!!!!!!!

I didnt really like how shadow kissed ended like seriously, she practically killed Dimitri. Granted, I have a funny feeling that blood promise will make up for it, and that Dimitri will still be tugging at Rose’s heart strings.

Oh and for anyone who love’s vampire books, the house of night series by p.c and kristin cast is a must read!!!!!!!

Again, LOVE THE SITE!!!!!!!!!!

Hmmm This is a little inspiring. I have a deep love passion for books and reading. My most favored place in the world is the library. I just love everything about it, Especially the smell! The smell of the books and the sound of turning pages. All of it! I think I’m going to start my own book review/log. Something similar to this. People deserve to know excellent books to read. Also, a really good series, For those who haven’t read it, Is the Private Series by Kate Brian. :)

51. Kailyn Travis - September 27, 2009

i wood just like 2 say that u r now 1 of my all time heroes. i go thru books so fast & my frends & family say its unhealthy cuz i spend way 2 much $$ on this “obsession” but im just like its not yur $$. plus wuts rong w/ an obsession w/ reading?? at least im not illitereate like half the kids in my highskool wer! keep up the great work i cant wait 2 read all these books yur suggesting :)

52. SASE - September 28, 2009

I was never really a reader until someone covinced me to read Twilight. I was immediately sucked into it and quickly read all four books. I stumbled across this website trying to quench my thirst for more. So far the books that have had a strong effect on me are the Mortal Instruments series and the Hunger Games (I’ll be picking up Catching Fire this evening) Are there any recommendations for books w/ the same feeling as these?

Kailyn Travis - September 28, 2009

I kno wut u mean thats how i was but w/ the Harry Potter books lol… ive nevr read those books but a rly rly rly great book is Shiver… ooh and the Evermore & Evernight & The Immortals & Blue Bloods series … Academy 7 was good 2

53. Don - October 23, 2009

I am totally jealous! I love to read. I walk into a bookstore and I feel like Charlie Bucket and the rest of the kids when they first enter the candy room of Willy Wonka. The problem is I’m a horribly slow reader. Part of the problem is that I have limited time to read, but more importantly, I am a dreadfully slow reader. If I get through a book in two or three weeks it is a feat. Looking at your list make me seethe with jealously!

Quite a list!

54. Miscellany Buffet – The Jealous Bookworm - October 23, 2009

[...] is a voracious, gluttonous, book sponge.  I know this because she posts a page that shows her reading list for 2009. As of October 21st, Karin has read 85 books! In 2008 (she also has that year’s list published, [...]

i hope i can inspire someone to read it

57. Michaela - November 4, 2009
