Thank you Jill at Breaking the Spine. This Waiting on Wednesday feature is great. Last week I highlighted my desperate need for THE FOREST OF HANDS AND TEETH by Carrie Ryan. I begged anyone that had a copy available to loan it to me or trade me for an ARC that I own. I’m so lucky that The Ravenous Reader had the book I was waiting for and was willing to swap. Thank you Ravenous Reader. I’m reading THE FOREST OF HANDS AND TEETH right now and I’ll be posting a review soon.
I also want to mention that Jennifer over at ReadingRants offered to send me a copy too, but Nancy and I had already swapped. Thanks Jennifer, I appreciate it.
Now, on to this week.
I’m Waiting, and Waiting, and Waiting for…
EVERMORE by Alyson Noel

Here is the product description:
Since a horrible accident claimed the lives of her family, sixteen-year-old Ever can see auras, hear people’s thoughts, and know a person’s life story by touch. Going out of her way to shield herself from human contact to suppress her abilities has branded her as a freak at her new high school—but everything changes when she meets Damen Auguste…
Ever sees Damen and feels an instant recognition. He is gorgeous, exotic and wealthy, and he holds many secrets. Damen is able to make things appear and disappear, he always seems to know what she’s thinking—and he’s the only one who can silence the noise and the random energy in her head. She doesn’t know who he really is—or what he is. Damen equal parts light and darkness, and he belongs to an enchanted new world where no one ever dies.

i really liked this book. i read it in a day. honestly i am a huge twilight fan and i read the back of the book so i thought Damen was going to turn out to be a vampire…so i bought it. but it surprised me. some parts about Ever’s afterlife where really cheesy though. like the fact that she takes a ride on the “river of forgetfulness” every time she dies…but all and all it was a good book. and i am very likely to get and read the second one. i think they should make a movie out of this book.
